The final of the 3rd National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, co hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the People's Government of Fujian Province, was successfully concluded in Quanzhou, Fujian Province from October 26-28, 2025. After fierce competition and rigorous evaluation, Dr. William Chen, Chairman of Lishan Biotechnology, led the project of "Intestinal Microbial Live Biopharmaceuticals for Crohn's Disease Treatment", which stood out among many excellent participating projects in the biopharmaceutical field and won the silver medal in this competition.

This innovation competition has received high attention, with more projects and participants than the first and second editions. It gathers seven major tracks including new generation information technology and artificial intelligence, high-end equipment manufacturing and robotics, biomedicine, new energy and energy conservation and environmental protection, attracting a total of 8006 projects and 36000 participants. The number of projects and participants have both reached new highs. The participating projects focus on national major strategies, scientific and technological frontiers, and industrial development needs. A total of 1721 projects have made it to the national finals. Lishan Biotech uses its globally unique Swarming technology to treat Crohn's Disease (CD) through biophysical means. This technology demonstrates significant technological originality, broad clinical application prospects, and enormous market potential, with significant scientific value and social significance.

Although the journey is far, the strength is achievable. Live Biotherapeutic Products (LBP) is the "third generation therapy" after small molecule and antibody drugs, with higher safety and more comprehensive treatment, carrying the earnest expectations of patients.
